With thewarmer weather we ask that you make sure your children are appropriately dressed and that sunscreen is applied before your child comes to Nursery.

- Our staff are; well qualified, experienced and professional. They go the extra mile to ensure each child is treated as an individual.
- Through carefully planned activities and structured play children experience fun, wonder and excitement whilst developing as independent learners.
- Starting at nursery is obviously big step in a child's life and the way in which a child responds will vary. Some will feel at home immediately whereas for others it may take some time until they feel comfortable.
- Each child has their own key worker to help this process and we are always happy to give you a quick phone call to reassure you that your child has settled. It is very rare that a child will not settle down after a few minutes.
- We believe your child will be encouraged to develop into a confident individual, where positive self-esteem is fostered. They will also have access to a comprehensive Early Years curriculum.
- For those wishing to feed into Sandford St Martin's First School we have an active partnership with the school. The Head Teacher, Mr Simon Donlon is on our committee and helps to support the work of the nursery. We plan several linked curriculum topics with Early Years to ensure that the transition to big school is as familiar and smooth as possible.
